How do Our Prepaid plans work?
The prepaid plans can be activated as-needed by Chippie prepaid users. You can activate a plan at any time, using your core balance of prepaid credit. You have full flexibility to activate a plan as needed and can choose from our various data-only plans or our combo bundles that combine data, minutes and SMS. After activation the plan grants will be valid for 1 day, 3 days, 7 days or 30 days, depending on the plan selected. You can switch between activating a data-only plan or a combo bundle with data minutes & SMS at any time, without our assistance.
You can access your data while connected to the Flow mobile network on your home territory or Flow mobile networks overseas. Your mobile internet usage will be deducted from the data quota of your plan. Unused data can be carried over to your next plan with our standard data roll-over feature. Any data that remains in your plan at the expiration date will roll over automatically if you activate a new plan within 24 hours. This will apply if you activate the same plan or a different one of the same type. This means that Data-only plan to Data-only plan and Combo bundle to Combo bundle roll-over will be possible. Data to Combo and vice- versa will not roll-over.
Minutes & SMS
Minutes are valid for calls to other Flow mobile numbers at home or abroad when you’re located on your home territory. SMS is valid for messages to other Flow numbers and other local numbers. The calling minutes and SMS messages of the selected combo bundle cannot be carried over after plan expiry. This means that all units not used will be forfeited. If all the units are used before plan expiry, you can continue to make calls using your prepaid credit.
Our Fair Use Policy applies for the unlimited minutes and SMS included in Combo bundles. A maximum of 3000 minutes applies. Calls to other local or international numbers will be billed at Flows prepaid mobile rates.
For ease of use, prepaid plans include an auto-renew feature. This means that on your plan expiry date, the same plan will be reactivated provided you have sufficient prepaid credit on your core balance at the time of renewal. After an unsuccessful auto-renew attempt, no further automated renewal attempts will be made.
To prevent auto-renew, send the following commands at any time, at least 1 hour before bundle expiry:
COMBO STOP to 3434 - to stop auto-renew on any combo bundle
DATA STOP to 3434 – to stop auto-renew on any data-only plan
To check your balance anytime, send the following commands:
SMS COMBO VAL to 3434 to receive your Combo bundle balance and expiration date.
SMS DATA VAL to 3434 to receive your Data-only plan balance and expiration date.
If you have an active 30-day Combo bundle you can buy extra data at any time. You can buy 1GB of extra data for only $6 by SMS. Simply send the command EXTRA DATA to 3434 to add the extra data. If you run out of data on your data bundle, simply activate a new data bundle at any time
