Shutdown of Local 2G Network | Welcome to Discoverflow

Phased Shutdown of 2G Network has commenced

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible network experience for customers, Flow will retire the 2G network, to reutilize the spectrum to improve 3G and 4G connectivity. This change will deliver faster data speeds and additional coverage, while also paving the way for future innovations in wireless technology.

This change will mean that Flow customers will need to replace their phone if only 2G capable, and those with 3G and 4G devices may have to verify that 3G/4G services are enabled in their phone settings. Once we have phased out 2G service, impacted customers who fail to take action will not be able to make and receive calls, text messages or utilize mobile data. Other gadgets such as tracking devices, dongles and other 2G-ONLY IoT’s will also be unable to connect to the Flow network.

Our team is ready to assist customers with this transition in person at the Flow store, where the agents will assist with the purchase/upgrade to a new compatible device, LTE SIM upgrade and ensuring customers of 3/4G devices have the correct settings.

Kind Regards,

Flow Country Manager
